OUR LADY OF FATIMA CHURCH
Our church family is filled with cultural diversity. We are a bilingual, Eucharistic community rooted in Roman Catholic traditions and devoted to serve God through our time, talent, treasure, and faith. Our church is located in Cumberland, Rhode Island and serves the Portuguese and English speaking parishioners with daily Masses, devotions, and religious celebrations in both languages. We also have various organizations committed to offering both old world and new world experiences as we strive for deeper commitment and fulfillment of our faith. We have processions with devotees praying the rosary aloud through the streets of Cumberland, sales of traditional Portuguese food, yearly feasts, Christmas bazaars, and monthly movie/pizza nights. Religious Education
Our Lady of Fatima Faith Formation takes place on Sunday mornings and children in grades 1-10 participate in a weekly one-hour class where they are brought closer to Jesus Christ through stories, lessons, prayer, Bible study, music and more. Children in grade 2 prepare and make their First Penance and First Communion and students in grades 9 and 10 are prepared for their Confirmation in tenth grade.
Our students host mass on Sunday mornings, volunteer at a local Food Pantry, assist with a Giving Tree at Christmas time to benefit parishioners and local shelters and many other community projects.

SPRED Program - The Special Religious Education (SPRED) Office helps parishes in the Diocese of Providence better serve those parishioners with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
